Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fern Expo is hiring an Account Executive to provide service to exhibitors throughout their events. The role combines sales and account management with event production, budgeting, scheduling, delivery, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Building industry relationships that lead to sales referrals and introductions
• Performing regular budgeting, scheduling, and sales projections associated with account assignments to management
• Maintaining an ongoing budget and fiscal account of the costs associated with producing events
• Converting sales leads into lifelong Fern Exposition clients
• Growing a book of business through a disciplined sales effort
• Serving as the client’s primary point of contact following acceptance of an agreement or assignment of an account
• Communicating our product/service offerings and partner network to accurately inform prospects and provide excellent customer service
• Manages multiple accounts with a focus on client relationships for organic growth to establish long standing relationships
• Manges the delivery and quality control of client events
• Identifies potential obstacles and works with senior team to ensure back-up plans and resolutions are in place
• Leads RFP opportunities in assigned accounts
• Maintains all organizational process, i.e. pipeline reports
• Responsible for quality control and highest possible output for all deliverables from all depts
• Manages specific project tracking and pipeline reports

Skills

• 5 or more years of experience in sales, operations, or customer service
• Proven client relationship and service delivery experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM
• Presentation experience – excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience juggling multiple priorities at one time required
• Experience in fast paced environment required
• Experience in trade shows, live events, or related industries preferred
• Salesforce preferred
