Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ryan Specialty’s RT Specialty division distributes specialty insurance products and services. The Account Executive supports the Broker team by managing accounts, preparing new-business and renewal submissions, reviewing policy documents and invoices, and helping ensure regulatory compliance and client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for new business and renewal processes as directed by the broker, initiating renewal reviews to help deliver optimal client coverage and support client retention strategies
• Support the broker in developing market submissions and quote cover letters for agents, while reviewing received documents for accuracy and completeness
• Build strong relationships with brokers and maintain an understanding of brokerage operations to proactively support business objectives
• Collaborate with brokers to drive renewal opportunities and support new business efforts through client referrals
• Assist in developing new business strategies with brokers, including proposals and presentations for prospective client opportunities
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with accounts while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
• Maintain accurate data within internal systems, create thorough documentation, and perform responsibilities in accordance with established guidelines, quality standards, and service expectations
• Generate reports on performance and key metrics, leveraging data and insights to identify portfolio trends and provide value-enhancing recommendations for the book of business
• Partner with internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met, resolve invoicing issues with Premium Accounting, and communicate cancellation notices as needed

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience combined with a Bachelor's degree
• Bachelor's degree required
• State Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Surplus Lines License(s), as required by state regulations
• Preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or a related discipline
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
• Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
• Commercial Insurance License (CIL)
