The Accountant maintains accurate and compliant financial records for assigned clients by overseeing general ledger functions, reviewing records, preparing monthly journal entries, and investigating discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Our Accountant oversees crucial financial functions for clients and ensures their records are complete and up to date with the latest information
• Prioritizing accuracy and thoroughness, you'll maintain the general ledger and accounting records for your assigned clients
• You'll review records, verify information, and prepare monthly journal entries
• If you notice any discrepancies, you'll investigate the source and notify the client
• Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will keep our clients' records straight and help support their financial health

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Knowledge of governmental accounting - a bonus
