Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWall Panel DesignerPay Range:$65,000-$85,000 annually (based on experience)SummaryThe successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to translate construction plans into efficient, production-ready wall panel designs.Customer satisfaction, quality, and on-time delivery are critical to success in this role.Purpose of PositionThe Wall Panel Designer is responsible for designing wall panel systems using industry-standard software while coordinating with sales, production, and engineering teams.This role ensures wall panel designs are accurate, code-compliant, and optimized for efficient manufacturing and installation.Essential FunctionsDesign wall panel layouts from architectural and structural plansPrepare accurate panel drawings and production documentationEnsure designs meet applicable building codes and project requirementsCoordinate with sales and production teams to ensure buildabilityOptimize material usage for efficiency and cost controlRevise designs based on customer feedback or engineering requirementsMaintain accurate records and documentation on a job-to-job basisCommunicate clearly with internal teams and external partnersAssist in troubleshooting design or production issues as they ariseSkills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction documentsStrong attention to detail and accuracySolid math and spatial reasoning skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a teamExperience and Education RequirementsExperience in wall panel design, framing, or component manufacturing preferredExperience with MiTek software or similar design software preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust pass background check and non-DOT drug testPhysical / Work ExpectationsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsAbility to work in an office/manufacturing environmentRegular and predictable attendanceBenefits401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time off.
