Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Billtrust is hiring an Associate Data Scientist to turn complex data into actionable business decisions. The role develops and deploys predictive models, analyzes datasets, collaborates on data-driven solutions, and communicates insights through visualizations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models using statistical and deep machine learning algorithms to solve business problems
• Analyze large and somewhat complex data sets to identify patterns and insights that drive key business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions that meet business objectives
• Communicate results and insights to stakeholders through visualizations and reports that are easy to understand
• Review the latest developments in data science and machine learning techniques, and continuously improve the organization’s analytical capabilities
• Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance
• Present workload in a tangible manner, such as through web interface and API Gateway

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or any related occupation
• 1 year experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• 1 year experience with model deployment in production using different tools and methods including Docker, Docker Compose, FastAPI, Flask, Gunicorn
• 1 year experience with big data and database, including SQL and NoSQL. Experience may have been gained concurrently
