Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Echofi is seeking its first backend engineer to implement the core infrastructure that powers its platform. The role designs, tests, deploys, and maintains backend services, while addressing architectural challenges involving security, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Skills

• Have 3+ years experience in full-stack application development (ASP, Node, Django, Rails)
• Excited to learn new languages and frameworks
• Experience with systems programming
• Familiar with best practices regarding testing, security, and reliability
• Familiar with cloud architecture, can design production-grade infrastructure
• Familiar managing complex codebases, especially projects using git and a trunk-based development model
• Deep understanding of SQL, including data models, queries, and ORMs
• Previously worked with trading, banking, or payment processing APIs
