Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. UST is hiring a Business Analyst to lead business analysis workstreams at a client site, serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams. The role leads requirements elicitation and documentation, aligns solutions with business objectives, and guides business analysts across the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement elicitation workshops with client business stakeholders, product owners and SMEs
• Author and maintain business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and recommend process or system improvements
• Partner with architects and development teams to ensure solutions meet documented business needs
• Own backlog grooming, prioritization and traceability of requirements through to delivery
• Support UAT planning, test scenario definition and defect triage with business users
• Guide, review and mentor junior business analysts; enforce documentation and quality standards
• Present analysis, options and recommendations to senior client stakeholders and manage expectations
• Ensure compliance with client governance, data security and regulatory standards (including HIPAA/PHI where applicable)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• 6–9 years of experience in business analysis, including leading analysis workstreams or small BA teams
• Strong expertise in requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and documentation
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to perform independent data validation and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
