The Business Development Manager identifies and qualifies market opportunities, develops a documented pipeline, and partners with Sales, Marketing, Technical Sales, and Operations to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the top of the funnel. Find opportunities first, read the market faster than anyone else, and feed our Sales team a pipeline they can win with
• 📡 Scan: Monitor market data and intelligence sources for early signals across pharma, biotech, nutraceutical and radiopharma
• 🧩 Shape: Turn raw signals into pre-leads, then into real opportunities
• ✅ Qualify: Confirm fit, budget, timeline, decision process, and principal relevance
• 🤝 Hand off: Deliver a sharp, well-documented opportunity to the Regional Sales Manager or Key Accounts owner
• 🏆 Win together: Partner with Sales as they capture, develop, propose, negotiate and close
• ▪️ New market segments, target accounts, and principal-fit opportunities
• ▪️ Lead-generation campaigns with Marketing and our Trade Show & BD team
• ▪️ ACIC’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
• ▪️ Partner-specific growth plays with Technical Sales and Operations
• ▪️ Competitive intelligence on markets, principals, and technologies
• ▪️ Relationships with associations, consultants, and engineering firms
• ▪️ Clean CRM data and tracking of lead volume and handoff conversion

Skills

• BD experience in pharma, biotech, radiopharma, life sciences, or capital equipment
