Henderson Scott is recruiting for multiple Data Engineer opportunities supporting robotics, autonomous technology, and AI programs at a global engineering and technology organization. The role builds and maintains data pipelines, processes and validates sensor data, prepares datasets for AI training, and works with robotics, AI, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for robotics and autonomous systems
• Process, transform and validate real-world sensor data
• Prepare high-quality datasets for AI training
• Identify and resolve data quality issues involving vehicle and robotics sensors
• Work closely with robotics, AI and engineering teams

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience, including robotics or autonomous technology projects
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience building scalable data ingestion, processing and transformation pipelines
• Experience processing sensor data such as LiDAR, cameras, radar, GNSS/GPS, IMU, telemetry, CAN bus or ROS bags
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and tools such as Spark, PySpark, Databricks or Airflow
• Experience handling large volumes of data, including validation, troubleshooting and data quality
• Experience preparing datasets for AI/ML training would be beneficial
