Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Beacon Talent is partnering with an unnamed creator-economy company to hire its first Director of Sales and Business Development. The role will sell the company’s strategic communications practice, build new client relationships, and establish its business development function.

Responsibilities

• Work an identified list of 10–20 priority targets, then map relationships and find new entry points with free rein
• Spot the opportunity, connect the dots between the creator side and the comms side, and turn around a sharp brief or memo fast
• Revive proposals already in flight, build custom pitches, and start outbound to a shortlist of target clients
• Stay hands-on as an individual contributor now, with a real chance to build and scale a team

Skills

• A sales or business development background
• Genuine passion for the creator economy is a must have
• A people-first, charming, genuinely strategic style, closer to a trusted advisor than a traditional salesperson
• Willingness to hustle at a small company and roll up your sleeves
• The potential to lead and grow a team down the road
• Ideally at a strategic communications, public affairs or adjacent firm
