The Electronic Trading Support Analyst supports critical trading infrastructure by investigating technical issues, maintaining platform reliability, and providing customer support across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve technical issues across real-time electronic trading platforms
• Troubleshoot FIX protocol connectivity, message flows, and trading system issues
• Perform detailed log analysis, identify errors, and conduct root-cause investigations
• Use Python or Bash scripting to automate tasks, analyse logs, and improve troubleshooting efficiency
• Support RHEL/Linux environments, including command-line operations, process management, and system-level troubleshooting
• Manage customer incidents and support tickets through to resolution, providing regular updates and escalating where required
• Maintain clear technical documentation and structured handovers across global support teams
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes, platform reliability, and the overall customer experience

Skills

• Hands-on experience supporting FIX connectivity, message flows, and real-time trading systems
• Strong log investigation skills, error identification, root-cause analysis, and configuration file management
• Practical scripting experience for automation, log analysis, and technical troubleshooting
• Strong command-line knowledge, including log analysis, process management, file system navigation, and system-level troubleshooting
• At least 2 years' experience in technical support, production support, or a customer-facing technical role, with strong incident management and communication skills
• Ability to manage tickets, communicate updates, escalate issues, and drive problems through to resolution
• A proactive approach, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently across global time zones
• Experience supporting FX trading platforms or financial market technology
• Familiarity with real-time trading environments and follow-the-sun support models
