Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Google is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to support its enterprise XR/AR portfolio. The role focuses on system integration, hardware/software debugging, testing, performance analysis, and automation for embedded consumer devices.

Responsibilities

• System-level bring-up, integration, and debugging
• Develop and maintain system test plans for glasses and accessories
• Triage regressions and drive root-cause analysis across firmware, power/performance, and platform teams
• Support logging and telemetry for performance analysis
• Analyze MCU behavior, system headroom, and power performance
• Build automation tools for measurement and regression detection

Skills

• 4+ years of systems, platform, or integration engineering experience
• Embedded or consumer device experience
• JTAG, oscilloscope, and power measurement experience
• C/C++ and Python
• Strong debugging, regression triage, and data analysis skills
• XR/AR, wearables, or mobile devices
• Power/performance characterization
• Telemetry/dashboarding experience
