The University of South Florida seeks a Grant Manager/Executive Assistant for its Institute for School-Community Partnerships, Integrated Services, and Child Mental Health and Educational Policy. The role supports the Executive Director and State Regional Literacy Directors, coordinating grant-related applications, timelines, communications, policy alignment, reporting, and administrative team operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of statues, rules, regulations, non-regulatory guidelines, technical assistance papers, reports, state board rules, and other requirements related to the SRLD’s
• Provide assistance, support, and initiative to support the Executive Director and SRLS activities and related tasks
• Establish timelines, prepare Request for Applications (RFAs), and monitor protocol as well as prepare needed documentation for communication of SRLD requirements to all stakeholders
• Supervise regional support team administrative assistant
• Ensure all materials and communications produced by SRLDs are aligned to state policy and guidance. Prepare reports as needed for external evaluators, auditors, and the department
• Maintains Supervisor’s calendar and schedules meetings as appropriate. Collaborate with team members as needed to problem solve and facilitate team planning
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree and four years of research or research administration experience; A Master's degree may substitute for two years of the required experience. There is no substitution of experience for the Bachelor's degree
• Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree
• Grant Management or in the field of Education
