The Financial Controller oversees accounting and financial reporting, manages cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, and provides financial insights to support leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• The Financial Controller will oversee key financial operations, including managing accounting processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, supporting budgeting and forecasting, analyzing financial performance, and maintaining internal controls and compliance with relevant standards
• The role will also involve partnering with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions, and preparing regular reports for internal stakeholders and external partners as needed

Skills

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and interpretation of key reports
• Candidates should possess solid Accounting and Finance skills, with experience in general ledger management, budgeting, and cash flow oversight
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and present clear, data-driven recommendations
• Candidates should possess proficiency with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, accounting systems) and familiarity with relevant accounting standards
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, integrity in handling sensitive information, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are beneficial
• Experience in technology or infrastructure-focused companies, and in part-time or remote financial roles, is an advantage
