Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agility Partners is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI. The role builds, deploys, and operates production-ready AI solutions alongside enterprise customer engineering teams, leading end-to-end implementations and developing reusable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customer engineering teams to understand business processes, technical requirements, and operational constraints, translating ambiguous challenges into scalable AI-enabled solutions
• Design and develop production-grade AI applications using Python, Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, multi-agent orchestration, and RAG pipelines that integrate foundation models, enterprise data sources, APIs, and existing applications
• Own AI solutions throughout the production lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, automated testing, CI/CD, evaluation frameworks, security guardrails, troubleshooting, and ongoing reliability improvements
• Develop reusable architectures, engineering patterns, and AI accelerators while mentoring engineers and sharing best practices to improve delivery across future customer engagements

Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong production-grade Python skills and experience designing, testing, and integrating enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI applications on AWS using Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore, including multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering, tool calling, and frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or Strands Agents
• Experience building RAG and retrieval pipelines, including embeddings, document chunking, vector search, and technologies such as Bedrock Knowledge Bases, OpenSearch, or pgvector
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture, including serverless and container technologies, storage, security, networking, and services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM
• Experience deploying and operating production software through the full SDLC, including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, evaluation, observability, resiliency, and incident troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience contributing to system design and architecture, with demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, or engineering team leadership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with enterprise customers
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, AI evaluation tools, regulated industries, or AWS certifications is a plus
