The Founding AI Engineer will own production AI systems end-to-end, building agents, backend services, data models, and infrastructure while working directly with customers to deploy enterprise solutions and create reusable platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production AI agents
• Integrate enterprise APIs, databases and legacy systems
• Build data models, ontologies and context layers for agents
• Design backend services and agent infrastructure
• Own projects from customer problem through production
• Improve reliability, observability and failure recovery
• Turn customer solutions into reusable platform primitives

Skills

• Startup experience
• Production experience building AI agents
• Strong backend or ML engineering fundamentals
• Experience owning meaningful end-to-end systems
• Breadth across AI, backend, data, and infrastructure
• Strong systems design and technical judgement
• Comfort working directly with customers
