The Founding Engineer will lead projects to collect data at petabyte scale, discover valuable datasets, and develop and test novel approaches to data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• You will be a core member of our software engineering team, leading projects to collect data at Petabyte scale
• You will often be the first person in the world to acquire valuable datasets
• You will brainstorm new ways of acquiring data with us, and run experiments to see if they work

Skills

• Have demonstrated a high level of creativity (CTF, competition programming, bug bounties, sophisticated engineering work)
• Understand and love the web
• Have completed engineering tasks others thought were impossible
• Ideal candidates are willing to relocate to Grand Cayman by EOY 2026!
