Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDEXX Distribution, Inc. is hiring a bilingual Inside Sales Associate to support customers in Canada. The role partners with field sales colleagues to build customer relationships, grow diagnostic revenue, promote veterinary diagnostic products and services, and maintain customer information in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• You will present IDEXX's values to our customers in a professional manner, including an understanding of our industry, veterinary practice, customers, technology, operations and processes
• Focus on a consultative selling approach to help practices grow their diagnostic revenue with IDEXX as a high value partner
• Use discovery to make recommendations and generate leads/opportunities within your existing customer base leading to an overall increase in the territory revenue
• Help build customer loyalty through the effective use of IDEXX products & services including in-house diagnostic solutions, rapid assay and reference laboratory testing in the customer's practice
• Collaborate with your field sales colleagues to increase the diagnostic utilization and revenue growth year over year in your region
• You will use Salesforce.com to maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions

Skills

• Must be fluent in both French (preferably Quebecois French) and English
• Basic experience in direct telephone or customer face-to-face sales (1-2 years)
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented, while working collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Be able to build strong customer and peer partnerships that allow you to gain confidence and trust from others easily
• Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions
• Effective listening skills that are utilized to discover customer needs to adapt your approach and demeanor to different situations
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Diagnostic sales preferred
• Previous experience managing a sales pipeline highly preferred
• Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and experience in healthcare or scientific industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a business or scientific discipline is a plus
