Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LyondellBasell is hiring a Jr. Account Manager for its APS Commercial Organization. The role manages and grows assigned customer accounts through business development, pricing, supply and quality support, and coordination of customer initiatives. The account manager works with internal teams to meet commercial goals and support customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Function as key LYB commercial contact at assigned accounts
• Own both the topline and bottom line management of your accounts
• Collaborate with and leverage support teams to maximize commercial objectives including customer service, supply, product management, business development, marketing, legal/compliance, credit, finance, and technical teams
• Drive goals and milestones aligned to business and commercial goals including pipeline growth, win rate, volume, margin, market share, and engagement levels with customers and internal teams
• Support the launch of new projects at customers and ensure they are receiving the needed responsiveness and technical support to drive value
• Maximize internal tools to log opportunities, quotes, and other applicable workstreams that require timely account manager input and monitoring
• Support the demand planning process requirements to provide supply visibility to customer demand

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, etc..)
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact across the organization with a variety of functional groups
• Capability to manage activities across a matrix organization
• Demonstrated proficiency with prioritization and decision making
• Strong Negotiation Skills
• Basic computer and software skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel), Salesforce.com, etc
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• Scientific, Technical or Business field is preferred
