Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Children’s Minnesota is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and tax operations. The role maintains general ledger accuracy, oversees reconciliations and monthly financial statements, coordinates tax reporting and audits, and supervises staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting and tax area. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the General ledger, reconciling all sub ledger, reviewing account reconciliations, preparation of monthly financial statements, tax reporting coordination of the annual external audit and other periodic federal and state audits, coordination of tax audits and staff supervision

Skills

• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 2 years of leadership experience
• Leadership, specifically developing staff and delegating to appropriate level
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft Financials is a plus
