The Product Marketing Specialist translates product capabilities and learning outcomes into buyer-facing messaging and supports go-to-market launches, marketing assets, competitive research, and internal enablement for B2B and B2C audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate product features, certifications, and learning outcomes into clear messaging for business buyers, individual learners, technical practitioners, and customer-facing teams
• Support go-to-market assets for both B2B and B2C buyer journeys, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and product adoption
• Owning product messaging, positioning, product marketing briefs, launch narratives, product collateral, digital product web-pages, buyer education, and competitive inputs
• Supporting product/certification launches with messaging, asset planning, and coordinated execution
• Managing intake for product marketing and enablement requests
• Own the organization and upkeep of the product marketing asset library so marketing, sales, customer success, and other internal teams can easily find and use approved, current messaging and materials
• Monitoring competitor messaging, positioning, and offers
• Help establish a lightweight voice-of-customer process by gathering and synthesizing insights from customers, learners, prospects, sales, customer success, support, product, reviews, community feedback, and campaign performance
• Turn customer and market insights into messaging recommendations, content ideas, objections, proof points, and asset updates
• Create and maintain product marketing and enablement assets for marketing, sales, customer success, and partner-facing use
• Support internal teams with clear, current messaging, product narratives, objection handling, and buyer education materials

• Curiosity about customers, competitors, and market positioning
• Familiarity with asset management and sales engagement tools and strategies
• Experience with messaging frameworks and feature-benefit mapping
• 2-4 years experience in product marketing or related discipline
• Strong writing and ability to translate technical information and features into marketing positioning
• Demonstrated ability to create briefs, outlines, wireframes, and first drafts
• Attention to detail and dedication to keeping assets accurate and current
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
• Practical AI fluency for research, drafting, competitive analysis, and workflow efficiency
• Interest or experience in cybersecurity, IT, technical training, SaaS, edtech, or certification-based products strongly preferred
