Remote Psychologist

Remote · Finland Full-time

Join Our Team of Psychologists on a Mission to Help Clients Navigate and Evolve Through Life’s Challenges Licensed Psychologist Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting Full-time | Remote About Evolvinn: Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting is a growing virtual mental health practice helping individuals and families navigate and evolve through life’s challenges, with a particular focus on complex medical and chronic health conditions. Our team of compassionate, highly skilled clinicians provides evidence-based therapy across the lifespan. We value a team that brings different backgrounds, identities, lived experiences, and perspectives to this work. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and especially encourage psychologists from communities underrepresented in the mental health field to apply. The Opportunity We’re seeking a licensed psychologist whose primary clinical interest is supporting adolescents and adults living with chronic illness, complex medical conditions, and medical trauma. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with clients living with dysautonomia, including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), Long COVID, and/or myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). We value clinicians who listen closely, validate clients’ experiences, and understand that living with chronic illness and trauma can affect relationships, identity, daily functioning, and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate adapts care to each client’s symptoms, energy levels, and capacity and helps clients navigate medical uncertainty, medical invalidation, trauma, grief, and adjustment. Additional training or experience in EMDR, OCD treatment, family therapy, or couples therapy is embraced. This role is a good fit for someone who values autonomy, authenticity, and connection—and wants to build a full-time clinical role within a supportive, collaborative practice. What We’re Looking For A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Health or Rehabilitation Psychology. Psychologist licensure in your state of residence and PSYPACT authorization or a proactive willingness to obtain PSYPACT authorization. Experience supporting adolescents and adults affected by chronic illness, pain, and medical trauma, with a strong interest in making this work a central part of your caseload. Experience with dysautonomia/POTS, Long COVID, and/or ME/CFS is preferred. An understanding of the distinction between helping clients cope with illness and attributing their physical symptoms to psychological causes. A commitment to evidence-based, trauma-informed care that respects each client’s background, identity, and lived experience. Flexibility in adapting therapy to clients’ fluctuating symptoms, fatigue, cognitive difficulties, and other access needs. Additional training or experience in EMDR, OCD treatment, family therapy, or couples therapy is welcomed. Availability to build and maintain a caseload of at least 22 completed sessions per week. This role is intended for someone seeking to build their clinical work within Evolvinn and is not a fit for someone who has already established or plans to continue growing a separate private practice. An appreciation for independent work, balanced with active participation in a supportive team. Why Join Evolvinn? Remote work and a flexible schedule: We believe the care we encourage for our clients should extend to our clinicians. Work from your home office and design your schedule to support both your clinical work and your life outside of it. W-2 employment and competitive compensation: This is a full-time W-2 position, with compensation based on completed sessions. Our out-of-network model reduces insurance-related administrative demands, giving you more room to focus on client care. Marketing and referrals: We provide referrals from our extensive, growing waitlist and connect you with clients whose needs align with your clinical interests. Administrative support: Our team helps with scheduling, billing, and paperwork so you can focus on therapy. Technology to support your work: We provide the platforms you need to work remotely and stay connected with clients and colleagues. Professional growth and specialty training: We offer a professional development stipend, assistance with licensure and PSYPACT fees, and opportunities for continued learning and additional certifications. Consultation and training opportunities can help you deepen your expertise in chronic illness, complex medical conditions, and medical trauma, including work with clients living with dysautonomia/POTS, Long COVID, and ME/CFS. Collaboration and clinical support: Connect with colleagues who bring a range of specialties and perspectives. Our weekly team meetings and monthly professional development meetings offer space to learn together, including discussions with outside specialists about complex chronic health conditions. We’re also part of a consortium of practices that offers free continuing education (CE) events five times a year. Clinicians can learn from colleagues, earn CE credits, and share their own expertise as a speaker. We provide paid time for team meetings and consultation opportunities for support with challenging cases. Leadership opportunities: As Evolvinn grows, there are opportunities to help shape the practice and step into leadership roles. Our benefits include: Paid health insurance. Dental and vision insurance. Paid time off. Liability insurance coverage. Paid time for team meetings. A professional development stipend. Who Thrives Here: You bring warmth, curiosity, and thoughtfulness to your work. You appreciate the connections among mental health, physical health, and medical experiences, and you approach clients with respect for the expertise they have in their own lives. You enjoy working independently while having colleagues to turn to. You want to continue learning and be part of a practice that values clinical excellence, human connection, and compassionate care for people living with chronic illness and trauma. How to Apply: Please send your resume and a cover letter to Careers@evolvinn.com. We’d love to hear about your clinical interests, relevant experience, and what draws you to working with clients living with chronic illness. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
