The QA Automation Engineer will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to define, implement, and execute test strategies throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover functional, regression, performance and API testing requirements
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software functionality meets acceptance criteria
• Utilizing Jira, to document and report defects in a clear and concise manner, track their resolution, and verify fixes
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage
• Promote a culture of quality within the team and organization by championing quality practices and standards

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, regression, integration, performance)
• Experience working Node, Typescript, Javascript- Mandatory
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Microsoft Playwright or other modern testing frameworks, Cypress etc
• Strong understanding of API's and their integration with SPA's
