Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. nexHub Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated testing frameworks for Spring Boot applications. The role focuses on API and microservices testing, CI/CD integration, and applying AI-driven solutions to improve software quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium, REST Assured, and related technologies
• Test REST APIs, microservices, and backend applications built using Spring Boot
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests
• Validate API contracts, request/response payloads, authentication, authorization, and error handling
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Leverage AI/ML-based testing tools to improve test coverage, test generation, defect detection, and test maintenance
• Explore Generative AI and LLM-based solutions for test case generation, test data creation, and intelligent test automation
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Perform database validation using SQL and troubleshoot application and test failures
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, defect triage, and release readiness activities
• Monitor test execution results, report defects, and provide quality metrics

Skills

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation or software quality engineering
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Spring Boot applications
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, JUnit, TestNG, or similar automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, JSON, and HTTP protocols
• Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API testing
• Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools
• Experience testing database-driven applications using SQL
• Practical experience with AI-assisted testing, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-powered automation tools
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills
