Position :SAP ABAP Developer - ABAP code retirement , Eclipse ADT & AbapGit.Location :Remote (U.S.)Duration :ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team supporting an S4 upgrade and several ongoing projectsThe ideal candidate has 10years of SAP ABAP experience with a strong background in ABAP code retirement , Eclipse ADT , and AbapGit.This role requires an independent, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about optimizing SAP systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement ABAP solutions (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms).Support and maintain custom ABAP code; provide technical support to functional teams.Apply SAP Notes, troubleshoot system issues, and implement enhancements.Create and maintain technical specifications and supporting documentation.Identify issues proactively and propose innovative solutions to optimize SAP performance.Assist in introducing and implementing the SAP NetWeaver development product suite , providing knowledge transfer to internal teams.Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and project standards.Required Skills & Experience10years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong proficiency in ABAP code retirement , Eclipse ADT , and AbapGit.Experience with SAP NetWeaver technologies (ABAP Objects, Java, Web Dynpro / Java, xApps Analytics).Skilled in Adobe Interactive Forms, ABAP report development, dialog programming, SAPscript / Smartforms, Enhancements & BADIs, LSMW, Workflow, IDocs / ALE.Prior experience with SAP ECC 6.0 , SAP Business Warehouse 7.0 , or SAP Solution Manager 4.0.Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP preferred).Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong customer service and project management mindset.
