Metrohm USA is hiring an Ion Chromatography Sales Representative to grow its customer base and sales territory for ion chromatography solutions. The role manages the full sales cycle, builds customer relationships, delivers product presentations and demos, and collaborates to tailor solutions and support customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage your own sales territory focused on IC solutions
• Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—to exceed growth targets
• Cultivate strong customer relationships in sectors such as pharma, chemicals, polymers, petrochemicals, personal care and food/beverage
• Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences
• Identify ways to streamline the sales process and maximize revenue
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably to analytical laboratories
• Hands-on knowledge or sales experience with IC equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
• Industry knowledge in pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, or related fields
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus
