Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SLED.AI is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead public-sector RFP responses for marketing agency clients. The role owns client relationships and proposals from bid assessment through submission, including compliance, proposal quality, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead public-sector RFP responses for marketing, advertising, creative, PR, digital, and media agency clients
• Evaluate opportunities against each agency’s capabilities, relevant experience, resources, and likelihood of winning
• Turn solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria into a clear response plan, deadlines, and client requests
• Work with agency leaders and subject-matter experts to gather case studies, campaign results, references, team qualifications, scopes, and pricing inputs
• Review and strengthen AI-generated drafts, making the proposed approach specific, credible, and supported by evidence
• Own compliance checks and submission readiness, including required forms, attachments, addenda, and deadlines
• Present bid recommendations and proposal status clearly, resolve gaps, and keep several pursuits moving at once
• Help improve our bid selection, proposal review, and client management processes

Skills

• You must have direct experience leading RFP responses for marketing agencies pursuing US public-sector contracts
• Demonstrated experience independently running US public-sector RFP responses for marketing agencies, either within an agency or as a consultant supporting agencies
• Practical understanding of government procurement requirements, evaluation criteria, and proposal submission processes
• Ability to translate an agency's marketing capabilities and campaign results into a persuasive, compliant proposal
• Senior-level judgment and confidence working directly with agency founders, executives, and delivery teams
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong editing and analytical skills
• Hands-on use of AI tools, with the judgment to verify facts and improve their output
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through across multiple accounts and deadlines
• Experience with state and local government, education, or other public-sector marketing procurements
