Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Centerstone of America, Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant to perform intermediate-level accounting work, including general ledger analysis. The role works closely with the Assistant Controller, Grant Manager, and Regional Finance Officer on financial close, reconciliations, reporting, audits, allocations, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, approve, and verify entries into the general ledger
• Perform general ledger analysis as assigned by Assistant Controller or Finance Officer
• Assist in month end duties for closing of the financials
• Perform other closing task as needed
• Perform AR reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Assist in banking reporting
• Audit documentation preparation and work with auditors
• Prepare allocations and run in Workday
• Prepare expenses for external funding
• Assis with budget procedures and process

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• Two years of general ledger accounting experience
• Ability to analyze fiscal data
• Prior budgeting experience
