Findorff is hiring a Senior Data Engineer & Architect to lead the strategy, design, and development of enterprise data solutions supporting operations, analytics, AI initiatives, and data-driven decision-making. The role develops scalable data architecture and integrations, advances data governance and quality, and partners with stakeholders to deliver reliable data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design Enterprise Data Architecture: Develop and maintain scalable data architectures, models, standards, and integration frameworks that support both operational and analytical business needs. Lead the evolution of Findorff's enterprise data platform and establish best practices for future growth
• Build and Optimize Data Solutions: Design, develop, and support data pipelines, ETL processes, APIs, and cloud-based integrations that connect critical business systems and deliver reliable, high-quality data across the organization
• Drive Data Governance and Quality: Champion data integrity, governance, security, and ownership standards while identifying opportunities to improve consistency, reliability, accessibility, and trust in enterprise data
• Lead Business-Focused Innovation: Partner with business leaders, analysts, and application owners to understand requirements, define solution strategies, and support initiatives related to reporting, analytics, process improvement, and artificial intelligence
• Ensure Platform Reliability and Performance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data platforms and integrations through testing, observability, automation, and performance optimization, ensuring dependable access to critical business information

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, database development, data integration, or a related field
• Demonstrated success designing and supporting enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, and cloud-based data solutions
• Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, relational databases, and modern integration practices
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise integrations across multiple business applications
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, security, and architecture best practices
• Proven ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into practical data solutions
