Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Goliath Partners is recruiting for an unnamed client expanding its engineering team across a digital finance ecosystem. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will lead development and modernization of critical applications and services, spanning Python, cloud infrastructure, databases, financial integrations, and frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications, REST APIs, and distributed services supporting payment processing and financial workflows
• Establish Python engineering standards for application architecture, testing, code reviews, and maintainable software design. Django experience is a plus
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable, secure system designs
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including deployments, monitoring, security, reliability, and cloud costs
• Lead complex engineering initiatives from architecture and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing support
• Build and maintain integrations with payment processors, banking platforms, and third-party financial services
• Design and optimize database schemas, data models, and queries to ensure transactional integrity and performance at scale
• Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript to support end-to-end feature delivery

Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering and maintaining complex production applications
• Advanced Python expertise, including backend platforms, REST APIs, and scalable services
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS in production environments
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript and the ability to contribute across the full stack
• Experience guiding architecture, optimizing infrastructure, improving performance, and supporting highly available systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Django experience preferred
