HCLTech is seeking a Senior Mendix Developer to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy enterprise applications using the Mendix Low-Code Platform. The role translates business requirements into scalable solutions and collaborates with stakeholders and technical teams while supporting application security, performance, releases, and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using the Mendix Low-Code Platform
• Develop responsive web and mobile applications using Mendix Studio Pro and established Mendix development best practices
• Gather, analyze, and translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions
• Design and implement Domain Models, Microflows, Nanoflows, Pages, Workflows, and reusable modules
• Develop and customize Mendix applications using Marketplace components and custom widgets where required
• Integrate Mendix applications with enterprise and third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OData, JSON, XML, and other integration technologies
• Configure application security, user roles, access rules, and authentication/authorization requirements
• Work with XPath, OQL, SQL, and database concepts for application data management and troubleshooting
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and defect resolution
• Support application deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments
• Participate in CI/CD, version control, release management, and deployment activities
• Monitor and optimize Mendix applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional teams, QA teams, and other developers
• Ensure applications follow established coding standards, security guidelines, architecture standards, and Mendix best practices
• Provide production support and troubleshoot application and integration issues
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Mendix Studio Pro
• Strong knowledge of: • Microflows • Nanoflows • Domain Modeling • Mendix Pages and UI development • XPath • OQL • Mendix security configuration • User roles and access management • Mendix Marketplace components
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience working with JSON and XML
• Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployment
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
• Preferably in enterprise application environments
• Mendix certification such as Mendix Advanced Developer or Expert Developer
• Experience developing reusable Mendix modules, connectors, or custom widgets
• Experience integrating Mendix with large-scale enterprise platforms and applications
• Exposure to cloud-based application deployment and enterprise DevOps environments
• Experience with performance optimization and production support for Mendix applications
