Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SingleStore is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Aura AI Platform team. The role involves designing, building, and operating distributed infrastructure for customer workloads across regions and clouds, including services for scaling, routing, security, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the platform that powers internal and customer‑facing intelligent services on SingleStore
• Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment, mentoring other engineers along the way
• Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
• Drive the team's engineering standards, championing best practices in system design, code quality, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure we scale reliably
• Share on-call responsibilities and proactively improve the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure

Skills

• 4+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
• Experience with working on distributed systems, ideally in programming languages such as Golang, Python or Rust
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
• Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
• Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring peers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and executing efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless/container execution environments
• Experience working with frontend web frameworks like React
• Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects
