The Senior Vice President of Sales shapes and executes sales strategy for membership, sponsorships, and partner engagement, while developing sales plans, managing key accounts, and building relationships with technology partners and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Vice President of Sales is a part-time, remote role focused on shaping and executing the sales strategy for Amazon Connect User Group membership, sponsorships, and partner engagement
• This role oversees the development of sales plans, manages key accounts, and builds long-term relationships with technology partners and enterprise customers
• The SVP collaborates with community leaders to identify growth opportunities, refine value propositions, and align sales initiatives with user group goals
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading sales operations, coaching volunteer or part-time sales contributors, reviewing pipeline metrics, and representing the user group in strategic conversations with sponsors and stakeholders

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including leading sales teams and driving revenue growth
• Strong background in Account Management with the ability to nurture, retain, and expand relationships with key members, sponsors, and partners
• Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales process optimization
• Proven Business Development skills, especially in building strategic partnerships within the cloud, SaaS, or technology ecosystem
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time capacity, with strong self-management and communication skills
• Track record of executive-level stakeholder engagement and negotiation
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with AWS, Amazon Connect, or cloud-based contact center solutions is highly beneficial
