The Staff Software Development Engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary product team to design and deliver user-centered software products, lead product design, and develop frontend and backend code using Java, Angular, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to Agile team
• Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
• Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development

Skills

• * 7+ years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment, preferably in a J2EE development environment
• * 7+ years of Java development experience while utilizing Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC
• * 4+ years of experience with frontend development using Angular 8+
• * 2+ years of experience using Agile concepts such as continuous integration (CI/CD) and test-driven development (TDD)
• * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure hardware and software such as Openstack, AWS, GCP, or Azure
• * Strong leadership experience
• * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
• * 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience
• * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
