Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. InnovationWorks Consulting is recruiting tax professionals for public accounting firms across the United States. The roles involve preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients, leading tax planning and research, and, at more senior levels, mentoring staff and managing engagements and client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate tax returns
• Building and maintaining direct client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Leading tax planning and research, and staying current on the tax code and IRS changes
• Mentoring, training and reviewing the work of more junior team members (Senior level and above)
• Managing engagements, budgets and a book of business (Manager level and above)

Skills

• Current experience in public accounting (local, regional or national firm)
• A track record of preparing and / or reviewing US tax returns
• US citizen or green card holder (these roles do not offer visa sponsorship)
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, client-focused approach
• Familiarity with common tax software such as UltraTax, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, GoSystem or Drake
• CPA or EA, held or in progress (a strong plus)
