The role focuses on analyzing commercial performance, identifying growth opportunities, and developing cross-functional strategies to improve revenue, profitability, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse revenue, profitability and commercial performance across individual business units, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
• Develop and execute strategies to accelerate revenue growth and improve overall business performance
• Evaluate go-to-market strategies, pricing, sales effectiveness and commercial operations
• Identify underperforming areas and implement targeted initiatives to improve revenue generation and profitability
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track growth and measure commercial effectiveness
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, customer expansion, new markets and additional revenue streams
• Partner with the executive team and business unit stakeholders to translate commercial insights into actionable growth strategies

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial strategy, commercial operations, revenue growth or business performance
• Demonstrable success analysing business performance and developing strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth
• Experience working across multiple business units, product lines or markets
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to translate data into commercial action
• Experience operating at senior executive or SLT level, influencing strategy without necessarily having direct reports
• Experience within scientific software, analytical instrumentation, laboratory technology or related technology-driven markets
