Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Marketing and Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving brand visibility, strategic growth, and client acquisition for FORT Group LLC
• This role leads the development and execution of integrated marketing plans, oversees market positioning, and manages initiatives that support the firm’s Financially Optimized Risk Targeted™ approach
• Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor analysis, defining target segments, shaping messaging, and supervising digital and traditional marketing campaigns
• The Vice President also collaborates closely with leadership to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and create thought leadership content and public relations initiatives that reinforce the firm’s value proposition
• The role includes managing marketing performance metrics, optimizing budgets, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all client-facing channels

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in Marketing and Marketing Management, with the ability to lead strategy and execution across channels
• Proficiency in Market Planning and Market Research to identify growth opportunities, segment audiences, and inform data-driven decisions
• Experience in Public Relations, including media outreach, reputation management, and development of thought leadership and communications
• Proven track record in business development, relationship management, and building strategic alliances in professional or financial services
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, client-focused messaging
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or vendors; prior responsibility for marketing budgets and performance metrics
