Role Description The Senior Vice President Marketing at Türkiye Öğrenci Senatosu / Student Senate of Türkiye (Turkish Student Senate) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s overall marketing vision and strategy. This role oversees the planning and implementation of national campaigns that promote student engagement, advocacy initiatives, and institutional partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the marketing team, developing integrated marketing plans, guiding market research and data analysis, and aligning messaging across digital, social, and traditional channels. The SVP Marketing collaborates closely with executive leadership, regional coordinators, and communications teams to ensure consistent brand positioning and effective outreach to students, universities, and stakeholders. The role also involves managing budgets, setting performance targets, monitoring campaign effectiveness, and continually optimizing strategies to expand awareness and impact.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Marketing Management and Marketing, including leading multi-channel campaigns and overseeing marketing operations. Strong capabilities in Market Planning and Market Research, with experience using data-driven insights to guide strategy and decision-making. Proficiency in Public Relations, including media relations, reputation management, and stakeholder communication. Proven leadership experience in senior marketing roles, with ability to mentor and develop diverse, distributed teams. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate organizational goals into actionable marketing initiatives. Advanced communication skills in written and spoken English; Turkish language proficiency is highly beneficial. Experience in non-profit, educational, student-led, or advocacy organizations is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills, self-management, and proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
