Craftbridge Digital builds web apps, API integrations and automation scripts for businesses, and keeps their older software running. We're based in Austin. We're hiring a Software Developer. Full-time, remote from anywhere in the United States. A typical ticket: a client's order form has to push data into their accounting system, and nobody wrote down how the old sync worked. You read the code that's there, write the new piece, test it against a copy of their data and ship it with a short note on what changed. Most of our work is TypeScript and Node on the back end, React on the front and Postgres or SQL Server underneath. Some clients still run PHP or C#. You'll touch those too. Every change goes through code review. You review other people's pull requests and they review yours. You've shipped code in at least one of those languages, at work, in an internship or in a project we can look at. You use Git and can write a SQL query with a join. You've called a REST API from code and handled what comes back when it fails. Nice if you've written tests, used Docker or worked with the Stripe, QuickBooks or Salesforce APIs.
