About Maveneer Maveneer is an engineering firm that specializes in the design and implementation of distribution centers and manufacturing operations, as well as creating custom equipment solutions. We are a rapidly growing startup founded by industry leaders in engineering, automation, material handling systems and operations leadership. We are looking for exceptionally talented, high-integrity individuals who want to be part of a team that does great work, supports one another, and provides an environment that allows individuals to work to their fullest potential. This enterprise requires individuals who are multidimensional. Top candidates are excellent communicators, problem solvers, and comfortable interacting with people at all levels of an organization, from the entry-level employees to CEOs. Maveneers constantly strive to learn more, enjoy self-teaching and teaching others. When faced with a task they don’t know how to accomplish, their first instinct is to learn how to do it, rather than seeking someone else to do it for them. Although individuals with these abilities are rare, they are exactly the type who comprise our company and enable us to thrive. Our people are our product. Our ability to form a group of individuals with these exceptional abilities allows us to achieve outsized impact, and to do so at extraordinary speed. If interested in applying to join our team, please send an email to careers@maveneer.com explaining your interest in Maveneer. Role Overview Maveneer is developing enterprise level software for supporting the integration of new physical equipment to our client’s existing business software. We are looking for a leader in software design and implementation to develop new features, support the testing and commissioning of new deployments, and maintain existing deployments. You will have the full support of Maveneer to assist when specific problems require subject matter expertise You will provide reports to clients and Maveneer teams as needed throughout the development and deployment of this software You will exude patience in troubleshooting and walking our clients through problem discovery, correction planning, and on-site activities You will provide excellent customer service to our clients, which may include helping them through activities outside your purview You will be expected to travel to our client’s site if critical events take place with the client’s system and to familiarize yourself with the operation of their business Remote This role requires you to work remotely (from a home office). You will be expected to report to a client’s site as needed based on the criticality of any event. Role Requirements You have enough production experience to have been burned by your own design decisions at least once. You are able to wield modern development tools (Claude Code, Codex, agents, etc.) but you aren’t useless when their servers are down. Sense of urgency in developing concepts and quickly identifying the good from the bad solutions. Responsible for maintaining traceable software updates, reports, and upgrades. You are organized and manage tasks at hand through to successful completion, and you communicate effectively and clearly along the way. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Extremely proficient use of English grammar, punctuation, and organization Polyglot with respect to programming languages, from low to high-level Can handle the back-end software engine as well as the client facing user interface Ability to travel as needed Benefits: Generous compensation and bonuses based on individual and company achievement.
