Lead the technical direction of Stellic's Degree Progress product, overseeing the evolution from a search-based system to a SAT solver–driven architecture. Partner with an algorithms lead to operationalize complex degree requirement validation into a reliable, trustworthy student-facing experience. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end Degree Progress systems including orchestration of SAT solver outputs into user-facing experiences, algorithm-to-product integration, and building purpose-built testing frameworks for complex degree requirements. Lead the Progress team across compute and product areas while setting technical direction and ensuring system scalability and reliability. Skills & Tools: Deep expertise in building systems where correctness is critical with strong skills in validation, debugging, and handling edge cases across complex domains. Ability to partner effectively with algorithms and product teams, set technical strategy, and architect scalable, testable systems. Qualifications: Proven experience leading engineering teams and building production systems requiring high reliability and correctness validation. Strong background in system design, testing frameworks, and working with complex algorithmic outputs in production environments.
