From ocean, river, and expedition cruises to thoughtfully planned land vacations, we help each client find the experience that fits their interests and travel style. Role Description We are seeking a motivated, personable Travel Associate who enjoys connecting with people and is excited to build a travel business with the support of an experienced team. This remote opportunity involves helping clients plan and book customized vacations, developing client relationships, and providing professional service from the first conversation through post-travel follow-up. This is a 100% commission-based, independent contractor opportunity with no base salary or hourly pay. No prior travel industry experience is required; travel industry or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their interests, preferences, and budgets. Research and recommend cruises, tours, resorts, and other travel experiences. Prepare personalized proposals and manage reservations, payments, deadlines, and travel documentation. Coordinate accommodations, transportation, and special requests. Respond promptly and professionally to questions, booking changes, and client needs. Build a client base through networking, referrals, marketing, and consistent follow-up. Complete training and stay informed about destinations, travel products, and supplier policies.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills. A self-motivated approach and willingness to build a commission-based business. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Comfort using email, virtual meeting platforms, and online systems, with a willingness to learn travel booking tools. Enthusiasm for travel and a commitment to helping clients. Experience in travel, hospitality, sales, customer service, or related fields is a plus.
