Skill sets required: Data Entry, Internet Research. Microsoft Excel. FileMaker Pro experience a plus but not required. Possible additional tasks from time to time depending on your skill set. We are looking for strong, independent workers to research high school guidance counselor and college advisor contacts, verifying existing contacts, correcting as needed, and adding new contacts. Data entry is via a custom webform. Assignments are provided in Excel spreadsheets containing links to data entry record/website. Preferred candidates must also be comfortable making phone calls to schools frequently. We have a large existing database that constantly requires updates. Minimum 10 hours weekly, 20 preferred, with frequent opportunities for additional hours. You must commit to a set number of hours weekly, but scheduling is flexible. Some training required, which is done remotely via Slack, and you will be on quasi "probation" for the first 6 to 8 weeks while we make certain quality of work and overall speed are acceptable. Attention to detail is and the ability to follow moderately complex instructions are essential. This position is ideal for those seeking long-term, part-time, flexible remote work as independent contractors. We are looking for people who can work with us consistently over the next few years. We do not have any short-term projects available at this time. Individual candidates must be physically located in the United States. We will not outsource to a company or group.
