Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the organization’s growth strategy and expanding its client base. This position oversees the identification and evaluation of new market opportunities, develops comprehensive business plans, and manages high-value sales initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining executive-level client relationships, leading contract negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions. The Vice President of Business Development will also guide account management activities, set performance targets, and provide mentorship to business development and sales team members.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in New Business Development and Sales to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning and strategic analysis to create and execute effective growth initiatives. Candidates should possess skills in Contract Negotiation to manage complex agreements and secure favorable terms. Candidates should possess skills in Account Management to nurture long-term client relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Extensive leadership experience in business development or sales at a senior or executive level. Proven track record of achieving growth targets and managing strategic partnerships. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders. Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting and pipeline management. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial. Comfort with remote collaboration tools and the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.
