Role Description The Vice President of Professional Services is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the delivery of client-facing services and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes. This position oversees the professional services team, defines service offerings, and manages end-to-end execution of consulting engagements, implementations, and training programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with sales and product teams, scoping projects, setting delivery standards, monitoring project performance, and driving continuous improvement in service methodologies and processes. The role also involves managing budgets and resource allocation, mentoring team members, and establishing best practices to scale operations. The Vice President of Professional Services will engage with key clients, address escalations, and contribute to strategic planning to support business growth.

Qualifications

Experience in Professional Services leadership, including developing service offerings and managing client-facing delivery teams. Demonstrated Consulting skills, with a track record of advising clients, understanding business needs, and translating requirements into actionable solutions. Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. Background in Business Process Improvement, with the ability to analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement optimized processes. Experience in Training design and delivery, including developing materials and leading client and internal training sessions. Proven ability to operate effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and communicate clearly across time zones. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus. Experience in lighting, building services, or related industries is beneficial but not required.
