Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. This position leads cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize processes that support growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include aligning operations with business goals, managing P&L performance, guiding strategic planning efforts, and prioritizing key projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The role also involves monitoring operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement, partnering with customer-facing teams to strengthen service delivery, and presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership. The Vice President of Strategic Operations will mentor leaders and managers, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure that strategic plans translate into measurable operational outcomes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and performance measurement. Candidates should possess experience in P&L Management, financial oversight, and budget responsibility. Candidates should possess expertise in Strategic Planning and the ability to align operations with long-term business objectives. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including prioritization, execution, and cross-functional coordination. Candidates should possess a commitment to high-quality Customer Service and stakeholder relationship management. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in executive leadership, data analytics, and change management. Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams, communicate clearly, and make decisions based on data and business impact.
