Role: Voice Talent for AI Voice Models (Internal & Commercial) At Cartesia, we are building the next generation of top-tier AI voices, and we are looking for an exceptional voice-over professional to join our roster. This isn't a project for beginners or hobbyists; we are looking for a seasoned pro who possesses masterful mic control, excellent pacing, and a command over a relaxed yet authoritative tone. We need pristine, broadcast-ready audio and a delivery that sounds like a confident, articulate human being, not a rigid robot. If you have the studio setup to deliver flawless files on a tight deadline, we want to hear from you. ✨ Who You Are We are looking for talent who can hit the exact sweet spot between polished, professional delivery and a genuinely natural vibe. You’re a perfect fit if you bring: Fluency: Must be a native or fluent Portuguese (Brazil) speaker. The "Conversational" Sweet Spot: The ability to sound relaxed, engaging, and grounded without sounding overly theatrical, "announcer-y," or forced. Mastery of Tone: Effortlessly natural, warm, conversational, yet authoritative. 🎛️ Studio & Tech Specs (Strict Requirements) Because these recordings are used to train advanced AI models, our technical baseline is exceptionally high. Studio Quality: Premium professional home studio setup capable of delivering pristine, broadcast-ready audio. Zero Noise Floor: Samples containing room tone, background noise, or acoustic reflections will be automatically disqualified. 🛡️ Privacy, Licensing & Voice Protection We deeply respect our voice talent and are committed to protecting your brand and reputation: Identity Protection: Your name is not publicly linked to this project, ensuring your identity remains completely private and protecting your professional brand from being directly associated with specific AI outputs. Usage Scope: Recordings are used for both internal development and customer-facing commercial products via our secure platform. Strict License Restrictions: We enforce strict licensing protections. Your voice will never be used for inappropriate content, including unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or violent materials, nor will it be used for political advertising or junk mail. 🚀 How to Apply Show us what you’ve got! To apply, please submit a short audio recording in your natural Portuguese (Brazil) accent answering the following prompt: "What is your favorite food, and what do you love about it?" We look forward to listening to your audition!
