Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Fountain Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Finance & Strategy team. The role involves supporting financial decisions and developing sustainable growth strategies for U.S. merchants, while collaborating with various teams to enhance profitability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Support the deal flow approvals process by reviewing submissions for policy requirements and work with sales, strategy & operations and finance to correct
• Support deal desk teams across all verticals and lines of businesses to create deal financial models
• Support the development of decision support materials by producing analytics spanning merchant comparables, our portfolio's performance, and market intelligence
• Maintain and update SQL queries to support deal models and analytics

Skills

• 3+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners at all levels of an organization
• Highly skilled at synthesizing business insights and problem-solving
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Build financial models used to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new programs
• Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn)
• Manipulate large datasets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and improve our understanding of our business through this process
