ConsultNet is recruiting for an unnamed higher education organization investing in its Workday environment and HR technology capabilities. The Workday HRIS Analyst will administer and improve Workday HCM, maintain system functionality and data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting and releases in collaboration with HR and IT.

Responsibilities

• This opportunity offers hands-on ownership of Workday HCM administration, exposure to multiple functional areas, and the ability to make a direct impact on HR operations and system improvements
• We are seeking a Workday HRIS Analyst to support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of a Workday HCM environment
• This individual will play a key role in maintaining system functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing business processes across multiple Workday modules
• The analyst will collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, implement system enhancements, maintain data accuracy, and support reporting and release activities
• This role will also serve as a primary functional resource between HR, IT, and external partners while helping strengthen internal Workday knowledge and capabilities

Skills

• Hands-on experience with Workday business process configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM functionality
• Experience supporting multiple Workday functional areas, such as Recruiting, Compensation, Talent and Performance, Time Tracking, or Absence
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and process improvements
• Experience supporting Workday reporting, data integrity, and system enhancements
• Familiarity with Workday testing, release management, and configuration updates
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process optimization
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• 2-5 years of experience supporting or administering Workday HCM preferred
• Previous experience supporting Workday within a higher education environment
• Experience partnering with HR, IT, and external Workday implementation teams
