Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Asphalt Materials, Inc. is hiring an IT Project Manager to plan and implement complex IT projects supporting multiple businesses. The role manages project scope, schedules, budgets, teams, stakeholders, and communications to deliver timely, quality IT services and improve business effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility of the company's systems and network infrastructure projects to ensure the deliverables are stable, available and reliable to meet the goals and objectives of the business
• Partners with project sponsor to define project objectives, scope, schedule and budget. Establishes project charter and plan, including success criteria
• Leads and directs project teams to meet project objectives
• Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives and success criteria
• Interact with all levels of employees to be able to visualize and understand IT-related problems and provide competent solutions
• Recommend new technologies and systems that will help in the improvement of the organization and various businesses
• Regularly work with other IT employees, consultants, programmers, etc...both internal and external as necessary
• Provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to project team members and/or others in Project Management roles
• Works with client departments and stakeholders to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support
• Keeps informed of advances in technology and Project Management
• Report and communicate effectively to the Manager, IT Project Management and other IT leaders regarding all aspects of assigned projects, associated tasks and related project recommendations
• Performs other IT related as assigned to support the overall goals of ITSS
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills

Skills

• Required Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
• Required 3+ years of project management experience
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Very high-level of self-awareness and desire to develop leadership capabilities

• Experience identifying and resolving issues independently. Demonstrates a solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgement
